Siar Beach Resort is one of the oldest resorts in the Lundu area with basic accommodation. The resort has been upgraded in recent years. There are now 2 and 3-room chalets for families. There is a canteen for simple meals, but it is better to organize your own food - especially a barbecue on the beach.

The beach is just right in front of the resort. During low tide, sea water is quite far out. The large expanse of sandy beach is great for beach activities and flying kites.
 

This Holiday resort is in the true sense of nature. Siar Beach Resort occupies a secluded, peaceful and tranquility beach front.
Only an hour drive from Kuching City. Go for the fresh air and watch the sunrises and sun sets.
Relax, stroll on the white sand or have a relaxing swim in the sea.

Visit Lundu Township with its friendly locals or stop by the fish market for fresh catches for BBQ. If you are lucky, the world's largest flower "The Rafflesia" could be in full bloom at Gunung Gading National Park on your way to Siar Beach Resort.
 

The beach front is only a few steps away from the resort. Siar Beach is a bay area and the water current is not very strong and perfect for swimming.

Single bedroom of 1 queen size bed, fully air-con with bathroom/toilet attached and TV (No cooking facilities).


2- Single Bedroom Price: Rm190
Single bedroom of 1 queen size bed + 1 single bed, fully air-con with bathroom/toilet attached and TV (No cooking facilities).


3- Deluxe Superior Bedroom Price: Rm290
Deluxe Superior bedroom facing the sea front of 24 feet x 12 feet (family room), fully air-con with bathroom/toilet attached. 1 queen side bed + 2 single beds with TV and fridge. (No cooking facilities).

Accommodation Type 2 : Bungalows

1- Four Bedrooms Bungalow Price: Rm490
4 Bedrooms Bungalow fully-air-con. Master bedroom with bathroom/toilet attached and 2 other bathrooms/toilets at kitchen. Kitchen is provided with fridge and cooking facilities. Large living room with TV. Private BBQ facilities at each bungalow.


2- Three Bedrooms Bungalow Price: Rm380
3 Bedrooms Bungalow fully-air-con. Master bedroom with bathroom/toilet attached and 2 other bathrooms/toilets at kitchen. Kitchen is provided with fridge and cooking facilities. Large living room with TV. Private BBQ facilities at each bungalow.

3- Two Bedrooms Bungalow Price: Rm280
2 bedroom bungalow fully air-con with individual bathroom/toilet attached. Kitchen is provided with a fridge and cooking facilities. Large living room with TV. Private BBQ facilities at each bungalow

Accommodation Type 3 : Longhouse Price: Rm490

One unit of longhouse with 3 bedrooms. Large living room (ruan tamu) of 44 feet x 17 feet inside the longhouse. A large kitchen with a fridge and 3 bathrooms/toilets. Private BBQ facilities at the longhouse. The Longhouse is most suitable for group check in such as students, university group bookings, church camps etc. (*Price depends on the number of checked-in guests).

There are three beach resorts in Lundu Town's Siar Beach:

3- Siar Beach Resort

Siar Beach is an hour drive from Kuching. There are several resorts at Siar Beach. The popular one is Siar Beach Resort. The resort has several self-contained bungalow units for family vacation. The room is fully air-conditioned with cooking facilities.

Bring your food rations or you can drive to Lundu town for a meal.

Siar Beach is not a white sand beach but sand-muddy beach. The main sea water body is far from the beach (approximately 500 meters away during low tide) with unsightly debris.

Siar Beach Resort occupies a secluded, peaceful and tranquility beach front with self contained bungalows units and basic facilities.
 

A Trip to SIAR beach, Lundu.
7-8 November 2003

It was just one of this beautiful sunny days when the secretary of the ASA sent emails round to all the African Students on campus. There is going to be a trip to .......

Everybody was overjoyed because of what the trip had for us....... mountain climbing, soccer, basket ball, swimming and the lot........
We got to SIAR beach resort ..... and was surprised at the nature of the place.....

That night the girls cooked, and my God, the food was unquestionably yummy. I have never tasted such mouth-watering meal in Malaysia. ....
The next morning, we had our morning devotion together. The spirit of God was in the house. The president read the sermon and related it to our daily lives. That, I will say is a good attribute of a leader. He knows what his followers want, how they want it and when they want it.

That morning, some went swimming again for the very last time. This was the final day of our trip. ....
We thanked God for such a trip.....
