Creative Combat Class in the Boys' Category
Winner 219 points  Terengganu
Runner-up 212 points Kuala Lumpur (Kuala Lumpur pipped Singapore in terms of presentation technique.)
Third 212 points Singapore
Creative Combat Class in the Girls' Category
(Only two teams took part in this category.)
Winner 207 points Singapore A
Second 206 points Terengganu
Institutions of higher learning Category - Boy
Winner 209 points Ungku Omar Polytechnic
Runner-up 182 points National Defense University
Third 177 points the Tawau Community College.
Institutions of higher learning Category - Girl
Winner 185 points Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia
Runner-up 183 points Tawau Community College

FESTIVAL SILAT NUSANTARA 2011

Silat Nusantara Festival 2011 was held in Tawau 15th to 19th May 2011 over 250 participants.

Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam is the president of the National Silat Federation of Malaysia.

All states, except 4, of Malaysia participated.

Singapore sent a team of 38 Silat players to Tawau under coach Mr. Raziz Hussin.

The closing of the festival will be Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman.

World's Biggest Silat Court To Be Build In Melaka

Malaysian Silat Federation (Pesaka) president Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Mohd Rustam announced that Melaka is building  the biggest silat 'court' in the world this year.

The venue named 'Gerbang Persilatan Melayu Sedunia' is located at the Hang Tuah Village and building cost is  RM37 million and has a capacity of 5,000 seats.

The Festival that started on 15th May till 19th May 2011  featured 250 silat exponents representing 18 teams, including 38 from Singapore.

The 4 states not participating are  Perlis, Kedah, Kelantan and Penang.

What make Festival Silat Nusantara unique is the gamelan music.
