Silat Nusantara Festival 2011 was
held in Tawau 15th to 19th May 2011 over 250 participants. Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam is the president of the National Silat Federation of Malaysia. All states, except 4, of Malaysia participated. Singapore sent a team of 38 Silat players to Tawau under coach Mr. Raziz Hussin. The closing of the festival will be Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman. World's Biggest Silat Court To Be Build In Melaka Malaysian Silat Federation (Pesaka)
president Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Mohd Rustam announced that Melaka is
building the biggest silat 'court' in the world this year. The 4 states not participating are Perlis, Kedah, Kelantan and Penang. What make Festival Silat Nusantara unique is the gamelan music. |
