Tunku Putra School - New Campus in Petra Jaya, Kuching

Tunku Putra School's new campus is the first and only school campus in Sarawak to have a cohesive child-safety and child-development approach built into its infrastructure. Located on 22 acres of land, the campus houses 1,400 sq meters of covered link ways and 45 rooms comprising classrooms, audio-visual and science laboratories, music studios, and computer workshops. The project's scope of works also included administration building, playing fields and a multi-purpose sports and community hall. The single entry/exit point, constant video surveillance, "octagonal" shaped buildings with rounded corners, elimination of open drains, separation of pedestrian from in-house traffic, and the fenced-off kindergarten area maximize safety.
