Curry Fish Head Hilltop
Sitting around at your favorite mamak stall, the first thing
come to mind arc are the roti canai. Which surely comes with the dhal or curry
gravy, which ever you prefer and well, practically that's just it. Maybe
something special like adding an egg thus becomes roti telur. I'm sure of it
that you'll get bored with it. What about something different?
Curry Fish Head Hilltop did just that and they called it roti cobra. Roti Cobra?
COBRA? Surely it sounds like you're eating snake meat with your usual roti but
its not. Upon friend's recommendation, I went and ordered it. A few minutes
later I got served something 1 never seen before till that day.
It's your usual roti canai, teared in the middle exposing a sunny-side-up egg
both covering a mixture of vegetables and meat according to your pick, chicken
or beef.
As different as it looks, it taste good. Combining all 3 of those and dipping it
in your dhal or curry gravy just astounds the other senses. The crunchyness of
the vegetable, and the softness of the roti, the hot and sour curry (which 1
prefer as my gravy) just compliments each other. A tornado of textures and
flavors in your mouth.
So, when you're craving for roti canai, come to visit Curry Fish Head Hilltop,
do try the roti cobra. Its a whole new experience
Taliban Food Centre
The naan at Taliban Food Centre would be one of the best around K.K. Just the right mix of crispiness on the outside and Huffy and soft on the inside, a freshly baked naan is perfect when you need something to fill your stomach. It's accompanied by a generous serving of kima (something like potato curry) and sour chutney (vegetables and herbs) giving enough variety in flavor to your naan that you'll never be bored of it.
