Buddha Tooth Relic Temple is located in the historic district of Chinatown of Singapore. The Temple has a small Museum with a comprehensive exhibits on Buddhist art and history telling stories of a culture over thousands of years old.
The temple is built in 2007, and gets its name from what the Buddhists regard as the left canine tooth of Buddha, which has been recovered from his funeral pyre in Kushinagar, India and displayed on the temple’s grounds.
This Tang Dynasty architecture style temple and costs S$75 million to set up.

Two fierce guardians protect the way to Gate of Heaven at White Temple of Chieng Mai,  Thailand

Gate of Heaven in White Temple has two fierce guardians  standing tall, ferocious and strong on rocks with naked from waist up, displaying powerful muscles and energetic movement with fiercely scowling wrathful expressions, celestial scarves, a chignon on the head and swirling sarongs.


Guarding the temple is a pair of Dvarapala (Gate Guardian statues) which is common in the Hindu and Buddhist religion.
Dvarapala is a protector deity of the Mahayana pantheon, this deity uses physical force to protect the temple’s cherished values and beliefs against evil.

Small, lovely and colorful temple. About 7 Km from Tawau Town of Sabah
The temple name say "Eight" Immortals but once inside you saw hundred other Chinese immortals. The Christians have an All Saints Church. We might as well call this temple as "All Immortals Temple"

One of the oldest Chinese temple in Sarawak. The Temple's land title deed bears the date of 29 August 1871 issued by the 2nd Rajah. The Temple was believe started in the 1820s as a small wooden hut to shelter the stone curved divide status brought from China.

The above Temple Guardians are only recent modern decoration added during the 2008 renovation works of the temple.
