It was afternoon of 5th October 2006 when I sported this yellow beauty at Kampong Merotai, Malaysia. It was so calm and steady resting on a leave tip that I snapped many close-up of it. Before I could click another shot, it flew right upward above my head. But within seconds it was back again at the very same position.  I adjusted my camera focus again and ..... what an amazing thing I saw from the camera screen. He caught a fly during that couple of seconds.

This is how it happen:   My camera was already in a close up distance and a few close up snaps already taken.  Suddenly he disappeared from the camera screen and I could hear his flipping wing sound above my head. Within only a couple of seconds he was right back again to his original position.  I quickly refocus the camera and on the screen what an excitement to see..........for the first time in my life.

What insect was he eating ? These clearest 2 photos shows the black insect has long legs (hairless), a long abdomen and dark coclr wings.
