This forest area is under Jabatan Perhutanan Daerah Tawau but the recreation area is operated by Hap Seng a private company.
The recreation forest park is well kept with beautifully nature landscape of hill slops and lake. A ideal place for family recreational activities.

The recreation area in this protected forest is only about the size of two football fields. The whole Membalua Forest Reserve is 178 Acres or about 135 foot ball fields.

TAMAN REKREASI HUTAN SIMPAN MEMBALUA

In this 2.5 acres of small opening in forest area, the management of Hap Seng company comes out with various activities such as:

Abseiling,
Wall climbing,
Flying fox,
Paddle boat,
Kayak.

Visitors can also book for camping package including activates. Recommended to come during weekdays as it's not as busy as weekend.

You have to pay RM5 for entrance. Then you can walk/jogging/hiking inside. If you want to play the sport, you need to register by paying according to the price listed.
