Located at Tanjung Forest Reserve, KM 10, Jalan Air Panas, Tawau, designed by the State Department, is a beautiful course just 25 minutes drive from Hotel Emas. Commanding an extremely magnificent view and presenting an optimal environment for golfing fun.

October 2007 , Tawau Golf Club celebrated its 40th Anniversary in conjunction with the grand opening of the clubhouse at their Tawau Hot Spring Golf Course. Now offering 27 holes of championship golf, comprised of is original 9-hole layout situated near the city's downtown and a dramatic, mountain 18-hole layout, this club has much to be proud of.

This beautiful 345-acre piece of rain forest land was given to Tawau Golf Club in 1982 by Datuk Harris Mohd Salleh, then the Chief Minister of Sabah.

Building the par-72 Hot Spring Golf Course was embarked on the club's own in-house design by a group of dedicated committee members with support, contributions and donations made by the club members, totalling RM1.8 million
The first nine holes was started in January 1996 and completed in May 1999. The second nine was completed in July 2001.
