白额高脚蛛（学名：Heteropoda venatoria，拉丁名：Linnaeus，英文名：Brown huntsman spider），属节肢动物门，蛛形科，蜘蛛目，高脚蛛科（巨蟹蛛科），高脚蛛属，在热带亚热带湿润地区广泛分布，是室内活动的蜘蛛中体型最大的种类，雄蛛体长1.5～2cm，雌蛛体长2.3～3cm，八脚细长，全长（包括脚）约10cm～13cm，张开脚时和CD差不多大小。
全身密生黄灰色毛，其额区有一条白色横带，此为白额高脚蛛名称的由来。
雄蛛背甲有一个很大的黑色Ｖ字形斑纹，雌蛛则没有这个斑纹。
白额高脚蛛是夜行性动物，喜欢出没于稍微阴暗的地方。
无毒，不结网，肉食性，在室内主要以捕食蟑螂、苍蝇、蛾等昆虫维生，食量大，是室内蟑螂最主要的天敌。
白额高脚蛛卵为圆盘状，雌蜘有抱卵游走的护卵行为，在交配产卵后，为了保护卵，会用丝将卵固定于腹部。
白额高脚蛛是无毒的蜘蛛，即使被咬也不会造成严重伤害、不结网，主要以捕食蟑螂、苍蝇、蛾等昆虫维生，可算是益虫。
