Tawau Hospice Association is a support group for cancer patients whose disease is no longer responsive to curative treatment.

The formation of this Association  was launched during a Palliative Care Forum held on 18th May 1997.
 

Tawau Hospice Fund Raising Project

The Tawau Hospice Association 2012 Charity Dinner surpassed its fund-raising target of RM400,000 through sales of tables and donations from the public.

All the 100 tables offered for the 2012 Hospice Charity Dinner held at Lau Gek Poh Foundation Hall on March 18, 2012 were sold out and  total donations received have surpassed RM400,000.

Lau Gek Poh Foundation donated RM 50,000 in support of the association activities and programs to look after the needs of the cancer patients and also the cancer survivors in Tawau.

The Home Care Program have 47 cancer patients and cancer survivors.
