Institut Kemahiran Industri Melaka (IKIM)

Melaka Industrial Training Institutes (IKIM) was established as an institution in the industry skills 2001.Penubuhan IKIM designed to produce highly skilled trainers to meet and support the Industrial Plan.

Has 12 years of experience in the field of technical skill and Kim is one of the accredited centers under the Department of Skill Development (DSD) running courses under the Ministry of Human Resources.

IKIM began operating at No.33, Jalan Bachang Jaya, Taman Bachang Jaya, 75250 Melaka and received first students in the 2001/2002 academic session, a total of 60 people in 2001.

Lessons are conducted in a lab-intensive to produce technicians who are capable and able to apply the theoretical concepts. IKIM skills program is based on 60% of teaching in the form of practical and industry exposure and 40% in the form of formal lectures. The curriculum provided by 100% NOSS that has been prepared and issued by the Department of Skills Pembagunan.
