LARGEST FIG FRUITS

As a woody root climber, Ficus punctata rooting freely from stems and branches to attach itself to trunk and branches of host tree.
All bruised parts exude milky-white latex.

Ficus punctata has big fruits but small leaves.
Ficus punctata figs came as varieties of sizes, shapes and colors.
E.J.H. Corner (1930s. Assistant director of the Singapore Botanic Gardens)
describe Ficus punctata as three different species.
