Malaysia-made Peugeot 207
Peugeot's first ever ASEAN hub model, the 207 Sedan

The first-ever Asean-hub Peugeot 207 car will be manufactured in Malaysia by Naza Automotive Manufacturing (NAM) with technical assistance from Automobiles Peugeot.

The project is referred by Naza as the T33 Project.

Naza is the holder for Peugeot Car in Malaysia.

Nasim, a member of the Naza Group, is the official distributor of Peugeot vehicles in Malaysia.

A total of 5,000 units of the Peuheot207 are expected to be produced to meet domestic and Asean market demand annually.

In 2009 a memorandum of understanding signed between Naza Automotive Manufacturing Sdn Bhd and Automobiles Peugeot which the NAZA assembling a new entry-level sedan for Peugeot in Malaysia.

The new Peugeot model 207 Sedan commence production in October 2010 on track.

This Peugeot's first ever ASEAN hub model, the 207 Sedan is based on the outgoing 206.

This 1st Malaysian European model has auto headlights, auto wipers, auto climate control, ABS, EBD, EBA, and dual airbags. Audio comes with MP3, WMA, USB and Bluetooth compatibility.

This is a first step towards an increased of Peugeot cars presence in Asean, using Malaysia as its base

The price of the new Peugeot 207 Sedan is around RM90,000

The 207 Sedan is an updated 206 Sedan based on the 206 chassis with a 1.6 liter engine.
