TAFE NSW is the largest vocational education and training provider in Australia and is one of the best in the world. Students will learn about financial management, auditing, management accounting, taxation, commercial and company law. Students will also learn how to produce and analyze reports and financial statements as well as how to design and implement accounting systems. Graduates will be able to operate independently in an accounting environment.

Recognized as Diploma level by the Ministry of Education

The curriculum is from TAFE NSW, Australia's largest provider of technical and vocational education. It provides 40% of Australia's technical training and caters to over 400,000 local and international students annually. Courses offered are practical and train students for specific jobs, leading to various levels of awards including Advanced Certificates and Diplomas.

It offers a fast track to an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification as ACCA has approved 5 exemptions out of their 14 papers to holders of the TAFE NSW Advanced Diploma in Accounting. Students may now graduate with the ACCA qualification in a minimum of 3 1/2 years.

Progression to Degree Programmes is also possible, with the option to further study and gain exemptions in Degree Programmes offered at universities in Australia. New Zealand & United Kingdom. Students will also be given Advanced Standing into the degree of the 3+0 degree programme in collaboration with Curtin University of Technology, Australia, leading to a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance.

The programme is divided into 4 levels :

1) Beginner’s
2) Pre-Intermediate
3) Intermediate
4) Upper-Intermediate levels

English Improvement Programme (EIP) covers key language skills at different degrees of intensity and depth in 4 areas : 1) listening
2) speaking
3) reading
4) writing

Duration of each level is 30 hours per week of guided study and experiential / immersion / multimedia activities.

The programme encourages students to use the English language effectively, and exposes them to a multitude of challenging and interesting text-types through listening and reading activities and also stimulates them to speak out and participate actively in discussions and role-playing exercises.

All applicants are placed into the appropriate level of study through an English Placement Test (EPT).
