SENTRAL Technology College Penang was
set up with education and students in mind.
Its primary goal is to contribute towards
the development of education in Malaysia by
creating wider options for our students as they
pursue their higher education, SENTRAL Tech
opened its doors to students on 1st January,
2002, marking a new educational beacon in
the heart of Georgetown, Penang. SENTRAL Tech is strategically situated in the heart of George Town off Macalis+er Road, behind Menara UMNO. Being away from the hustle and bustle of the main road (Macalister Road) provides a conducive place of study for the students and yet provides easy access to public transportation. It is a stone's throw away from all types of eating outlets such as vegetarian restaurants, nasi kandar shops and coffee shops. SENTRAL Tech is located very close to financial institutions thus making banking easier for the students. A mosque is located nearby which enables the students and staff to perform their Friday prayers conveniently. Mission And Vision We firmly believe that education is the heart of development. A strong commitment for academic excellentce and innovation will bring success and advancement to the nation for intellectual property is the only unlimited resource available. Continuing education is thus the lifeblood of a nation in this knowledge economy for continuous peace and prosperity. |

| Academic Facilities SENTRAL Tech is fully air-conditioned and housed in a 7-storey building that provides free covered car and motorcycle parking, a Security Office and a mini-Cafe. SENTRAL Tech has five multimedia computer laboratories with broadband facilities for students. All computer labs are equipped with HP Computers running on Pentium Duo Core Technologies, Other resources available at SENTRAL Tech are a library, teaching and learning rooms, lecture hall, conference room. and surau. SENTRAL Tech was designed with classrooms, laboratories, computer facilities, and office space in close proximity to facilitate interaction among faculty members, researchers and students. |
| Student Support Services SENTRAL Tech places high importance on its students' future growth and development. Students are encouraged to organise activities which will promote their mental and physical health. | Recognition In 2006 the Ministry of Education Malaysia upgraded the status of SENTRAL Technology College to that of a COLLEGE, SENTRAL Tech, with ideals inspired by its founders, continues its commitment in the pursuit of educational excellence within the context of respect, care and justice, marked by the national ideology (the Rukun Negara) and intellectual vigor as in the national education philosophy. |
