PANTAI COLLEGE OF NURSING
Located in a strategic area in Subang Jaya, Selangor, the College and its other centre in Ayer Keroh (Melaka) assumes the responsibility to train and develop a new generation of nurses and allied health professionals. Vision to
provide a teaching environment fully equipped with the state-of-the art
technology for a conducive learning environment is further enhanced by faculty
members who are professional healthcare educators with vast teaching and
clinical experience and specialization. Our trained nurses are readily accepted for employment in other countries such as the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, Britain, Canada etc. To date, more than 1800 registered nurses and assistant nurses have graduated and presently 700 more trainees are still undergoing training at various stages of the 3-year diploma programme and 18 months conversion course.
Pantai Medical Centre Pantai Cheras Medical Centre was commissioned in June 1994 and provides various in and outpatient services. With over 41 Consultants and 3 full time Medical Officers, the Hospital provides accessible and affordable quality medical care for the people. Our Specialist Doctors services range from General Medicine to Urology. The Centre won the recognition of the ISO 9001:2000 Certificate in October 2005. Pantai College of Nursing & Health Science
Any student between 18 and 25 who has completed work in a secondary school and has received a pass in SPM English (the Malaysian Certificate of Education) is eligible to apply. The curriculum gives equal focus to behavioral, nursing and health sciences, providing instruction in the necessary terminology, methodology and medical information as well as proper caretaking techniques. Clinical experience is achieved at both Pantai hospitals and other approved government health-care facilities. The school is
accredited by the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Higher
Education and the Nursing Board of Malaysia. Semesters begin in
January, July and October. |

and the Malaysian Nursing Board

Pantai Institute of Health Science and Nursing is
dedicated to provide a high quality of training for students nurses
and other allied health professional for the Ministry of Health and
private medical centres. The Institute seek collaborative arrangement with local and foreign institutions, in an effort to promote the development of personal and professional skills, and competency of qualified nurses and allied health professional. The Institute has signed MOUs with : Newcastle University, Australia; Kingston University, UK; and local INTI Group of Colleges. The arrangement would certainly
benefit the nurses and allied health professionals to pursue higher
degree qualification. |
