Lawas, situated in Sarawak, is about 200km away from Kota Kinabalu. Once known for its notorious and sleazy activities, this small town has undergone a drastic transformation to become a major point of transit between the trio, Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei.

1- Lawas Bus Terminal (Terminal Bas Lawas) (Lawas to Kota Kinabalu & around Lawas)
2- Lawas Express Boat Terminal (Terminal Express Lawas) ( Lawas to Limbang & Labuan )
3- Lawas Airport (Lapangan Kapal Terbang Lawas) (Lawas to Miri & Ba’kelalan)

There is only one bus terminal for express buses between Sarawak and Sabah. For those local buses that ply between the villages and longhouses, these mini buses have their own stopping point to drop off and picking up passengers.


Lawas…Express Boat Wharf provide services to express boat passengers coming and going to Labuan Island, Brunei and Limbang.

1- Lawas to Limbang and Brunei : daily express boat service

2- Lawas to Labuan Island : 5 times weekly.
