Scuba diving is not hard to learn, certainly not when you have Scuba Paradise to help you acquire the skills that could soon see you braving the sea like a professional.

Several tourism service provider in Sabah conduct open water diving course for learners aged 11 to 84. The usually three-day course are conducted by PAD1 certified instructors and with the fee ranging from RM800 and KM 1000 per participant, is enough for one to obtain the license to dive.

On the first day, you will be taught how to go underwater, following by open water diving in the sea on the next two days. And you will be certified as a competent scuba diver alter four or five sea dives.

Scuba Junkie Backpackers about 20 meters parallel to the Semporna waterfront and easily find by the building dark-blue wall.

Scuba Junkie provide transfer from Tawau Airport (TWU) to Semporna in a mini van but you have to pre arrange with them.

Since opening in 2007. Scuba Junkie Backpacker has successfully stamped its mark in the tourism scene of Semporna, the gateway town to world-class diving sites such as Pulau Sipadan, Pulau Mabul and Pulau Kapalai.

Scuba Junkie Backpackers offer clean and affordable rooms for scuba divers. There are four categories of accommodation spanning across the two-storey shophouse building :1 - Dormitory
2 - Standard
3 - En-Suite
4 - VIP Suite.

Scuba Junkie Backpackers provides free internet access throughout the building. There are a few internet PCs provided in a computer room infront the reception counter.
