Starting 2012, all Malaysian companies exporting swiftlet nests to China are required to obtain three quality certifications before their products will be allowed to enter China.

The quality certifications were :

1) the Veterinary Health Mark (VHM) certificate issued by the Veterinary Department,
2) the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) certificate by Malaysian Multimedia Commission (MCMC)
3) the health certificate issued by the Health Ministry of Malaysia.

The three certifications are aimed at ensuring the quality of the Malaysian swiftlet nests would meet the standards set by the Chinese government.

swiftlet nest products that contain high level of nitrite could pose a threat to human health and could also cause cancer.

Anti-Aging Food. The general guidelines for the anti-aging diet are: keep your calorie consumption and saturated fat intake down; eat plenty of wholegrain, oily fish , fresh fruit and vegetables; and cut down on salt and sugar.

In addition to these general guidelines, there are specific foods that have a role in anti-aging and that you should regularly include in your diet such as edible bird's nest soup.
