Oxyopes sp SG TAWAU is a temporary name after the location it was found, the Sungai Tawau River. Actual species name uncertain. It could be a Hamadruas hieroglyphica.
Genus Oxyopes spiders are abundant spiders easily found in a garden.

Oxyopes eyesight is not as good as that of the jumping spiders.
 The hexagonal arrangement of the eyes is characteristic of this genus.
Oxyopes have two large front eyes besides a smaller pair, two on the side of their head and two large ones looking above and backward giving an almost 360 degree view
