But this species is not found in China
One of the boldest of jumping spiders. These species hunt all
kind of insects including other spider species. Size is 10mm. Very hairy.
The heavy-bodied jumper, also known as the semi-coppered heavy jumper, is a
species of spider of the genus ''Hyllus''.
It is native to India and Sri Lanka. In Borneo, this species is found in human
populated area and not in forests and jungles.

Hyllus semicupreus is a common spider in human populated cities and town in Borneo. There is no record of this spider in protected natural forest such as Kinabalu National Parks.
Following are 6 More individuals from different locations. Most of them are
from the same location in Merotai.
Hyllus semicupreus are active hunter on insects as can see from the following
individuals their pray include Lynx Spider, Robber Fly and House Fly.
All the following found are females. No male seen yet. Male is unknown and
remain as a mystery at this time.
