Adventist College of Nursing & Health Sciences (ACNHS) was established in the late 90s by Penang Adventist Hospital to train quality nurses.

To date, the college has produced over hundreds of nurses who serve the hospital and community diligently. Some have also gone abroad in search of greener pastures.

The Adventist College of Nursing offers two different programs, both certified by the Board of Nursing Malaysia and MQA the Ministry of Education.

1) A three-year diploma in nursing - This full nursing program starts each July, with a broad curriculum including behavioral and social sciences, health sciences, nursing sciences and practices, research, religion and professional management.

2) A two-year certification in assistant nursing - The assistant program starts each January and covers some of the same areas. Students learn theory and get hands-on training in a clinical environment, preparing them for the Board of Nursing Malaysia's licensure examination.

Applicants must be 18 or older, in good physical and mental health, and for the three-year program, have a proficiency in English.
