The Rajah Brooke’s Birdwing (Troides brookiana) is a beautiful species from Malaysia. Discovered in 1855 by famous British naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace during one of his expeditions to Borneo. He named it in honor of Sir James Brooke, the Rajah of Sarawak. Other then Tawau Hills Park, this species can be found in Cameroon Highlands as well. |
