1- Spiral Orb Webs 螺旋園網
This is the most common outdoor spider web associated with the family Araneidae, family Nephilidae and family Tetragnathidae with species include following :
- orange garden orb weaving spiders,
- banded orb weaving spiders,
- bolas spiders and
- silk spiders.

2- Tangle Webs or Cobwebs 糾結網
Tangled webs (cobwebs) are associated with the family Theridiidae with species include following :
- house spider
- ogre-faced stick spider.
Tangled and Cob webs are jumbles of threads that lack of structure and often collect dirt and debris.

3- Sheet Webs 皿網
Sheet webs are associated with the family Linyphiidae with species including :
- bowl and doily spider
- platform spider.
Sheet webs are flat sheets of silk between plant branches.

4- Funnel Webs 漏斗網
Funnel web spiders belong to the family Agelenidae family and Family Psechridae with species includes:
- hobo spider.
Funnel webs are large, flat horizontal with openings at middle for the spider to escape.

5- Triangle Webs 三角網
The Uloborid family is often associated with this type of web. Hence their name, triangle webs are silky strands of spokes and spirals that connect to three strands. Triangle webs are horizontal and fuzzy, which helps trap and smother prey.
