Sebangkoi Forest Park
Next to the deer farm is the Sebangkoi Forest Park. Located at the top of Bukit Sebangkoi is surrounded by green making it an ideal site for rest and recreational. The park have various public facilities like trekking trek and resting huts.
Sebangkoi Deer Farm
Located 26km from Sarikei town is another interesting place to visit and get to know the different species of deer. It is one of the best managed deer farm in Malaysia.
Pineapple Statue at the Rejang River Water Font
Sarikei is famed for its sweet succulent pineapples and a Pineapple Statue near the Express Boat wharf.  Fresh pineapples available for sales at the Fruit and Vegetable Market nearby.

Bus terminals

Sarikei has two bus stations

1- Sarikei Local Bus Station (Short distance bus station) is located near the Sarikei Express Wharf Terminal . The short distance bus terminal is for the short distance travel within Sarikei town, and to Sibu and Bintangor.

2- Express Bus Terminal (Sarikei long distance bus terminal) located 1 km from town centre (started operate around year 2002). For long distance bus terminal, Sarikei Bus Terminal serves as the main hub for express buses to various destinations in Sarawak including Kuching, Sri Aman, Sibu, Bintulu and Miri through the Pan Borneo Highway.
There is no hotel near this long distance bus terminal at Jalan Nyalong Bypass

Pan-Borneo Highway

The Pan-Borneo Highway was built in 1986 to link the two East Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak.

It begins in the district of Sematan in Sarawak, and passes through Kuching, Serian, Sri Aman, Sarikei, Sibu, Bintulu, Miri, Limbang, Lawas, Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan and Tawau.

Sri Aman Town is off the Pan Borneo Highway

Between Sabah and Sarawak, the highway passed through two halves of  Brunei.

As of today, the Pan-Borneo Highway is 93 percent completed, with a remainder of a 50-kilometre missing link from Kalabakan to Serudong.
